Objectives
THE COURSE AIMS TO ENRICH THE LANGUAGE AND SOCIOLINGUISTIC, PRAGMATIC AND TEXTUAL SKILLS OF STUDENTS THROUGH LINGUISTIC, RETORICAL ANALYSIS

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING (DESCRIPTOR 1 DUBLIN)
THE STUDENT WILL KNOW:
- IN DEEP WAY THE METHODS OF TEXTUAL AND TRANSLATION ANALYSIS AT ADVANCED LEVEL;
- COMPUTER PROGRAMS FOR THE PROCESSING OF TEXTS AND TO CARRY OUT, IN THE LANGUAGE FIELD, SEARCHES OF VARIOUS NATURE.

ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING (DESCRIPTOR 2 DUBLIN) - THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO:
- DEEPEN THE STUDY OF COMPLEX LINGUISTIC PHENOMENA AND PROBLEMS OF TRANSLATION AND ITS REFORMULATION WITH DIFFERENT METHODS AND OBJECTIVES.
- USE COMPUTER PROGRAMS FOR THE PROCESSING OF TEXTS AND TO CARRY OUT, IN THE LANGUAGE FIELD, SEARCHES OF VARIOUS NATURE.

AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT (DESCRIPTOR 3 DUBLIN)
THE STUDENT WILL HAVE A MASTERY OF REFLECTION AND JUDGMENT OF UPDATED CRITICAL AND KNOWLEDGE TOOLS THAT ALLOW THE PROCESSING OF RESEARCH IN FRENCH LANGUAGE, AS WELL AS THE CULTURAL AND DISCIPLINARY AREAS THAT REFER TO IT.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS (DESCRIPTOR 4 DUBLIN)
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO DESIGN AND COMMUNICATE LINGUISTIC AND TRANSLATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS ALSO IN E-LEARNING MODE.

LEARNING SKILLS (DESCRIPTOR 5 DUBLIN)
THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO CRITICALLY DEEPEN THE ANALYSIS OF LINGUISTIC AND TEXTUAL PHENOMENA.
Prerequisites
STUDENTS WILL HAVE PASSED THE EXAMS OF LINGUA FRANCESE I, II, III OR, IN ALTERNATIVE, HAVE TO GET THE NUMBER OF CREDITS (CFU) NECESSARY TO FOLLOW THIS COURSE (AS REQUIRED BY LINGUE E LETTERATURE STRANIERE COURSE RULES)
THEY NEED A B2 LEVEL COMPETENCE (COMMON EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK OF REFERENCE FOR LANGUAGES).

READING, ANALYSIS, DETAILS, TRANSLATION AND COMMENTARY OF TEXTS AND DOCUMENTS CONCERNING:
• ASSESSMENT OF THE QUALITIES OF A CANDIDATE ON THE OCCASION OF AN INTERVIEW
• EXPOSURE AND DEVELOPMENT OF A POINT OF VIEW BY WRITING IN AN EDITORIAL OF A MAGAZINE
• DESCRIPTION OF THE STAGES OF A JOB INTERVIEW IN FRANCE
• COMPARISON OF MIGRATORY PHENOMENA IN FRANCE AND ITALY
• PREPARING A MINUTES OF A PROFESSIONAL MEETING
• GLOBALIZATION AND WORLDIZATION
• ECONOMIC, CULTURAL AND SOCIAL SITUATION BETWEEN FRANCE AND ITALY
• "GLOBAL TCHATCHE" FORUM
• LETTER OF INFORMATION TO A TRAINING INSTITUTION
• TECHNOLOGIES THAT CHANGE THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
• DISTANCE TEACHING: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES
THE STUDENT WILL BE INVITED TO COMPARE-CONTRASTING COMPARISON BETWEEN CONTACT CODES THROUGH THE TRANSLATION OF TEXTS OF LITERARY AND SPECIALIST INTEREST.
IN CONSIDERATION OF THE IMPORTANCE THAT THE NEW TECHNOLOGIES HAVE TAKEN TODAY AND, IN PARTICULAR, OF THE WEIGHT THEY HAVE IN THE PROFESSION OF THE TRANSLATOR, THE COURSE ALSO PURPOSES TO DEVELOP EFFECTIVELY THE NECESSARY SKILLS TO USE COMPUTER AIDS NETWORK GROUP.
ATTENDING STUDENTS WILL BE FOLLOWED IN INDIVIDUAL PATHS BOTH IN THE TRANSLATION TESTS AND IN THE PRESENTATION OF ALTERNATIVE STUDY PROPOSALS. A CYCLE OF EXERCISES WILL INTRODUCE STUDENTS TO RESEARCH AND DOCUMENTATION PROBLEMS.
Teaching Methods
THE COURSE INCLUDES 45 HOURS OF LESSONS AND 88 HOURS OF LINGUISTIC PRACTICE WITH COLLABORATORS AND LINGUISTIC EXPERTS.
Verification of learning
AT THE END OF THE COURSE, STUDENTS WHO HAVE ATTENDED OR NOT ATTENDED TO THE COURSE HAVE TO PASS AN EXAM CONSISTING OF A WRITTEN TEST WHICH IS COMPULSORY BEFORE TAKING THE ORAL TEST.
WRITTEN TEST FOR LINGUE E CULTURE STUDENTS:
THE TEST LASTS 6 HOURS AND CONSISTS OF SUBJECTS STUDIED DURING THE COURSE, ON CONTENTS OF THE BOOKS PROPOSED FOR THE STUDY OF FRENCH THIS YEAR. WRITTEN TEST CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:
-DICTATION TO TEST MORE COMPLEX KNOWLEDGES IN PHONETIC, PHONOLOGIC AND MORPHOLOGIC SKILLS;
-COMPOSITION IN FRENCH LANGUAGE ON CIVILIZATION AND ACTUALITY SUBJECTS PROPOSED DURING THE COURSE;
-TRANSLATION OF A TEXT FROM FRANCH INTO ITALIAN.
THE FINAL MARK IS THE AVERAGE OF THE THREE TEST MARKS.
WRITTEN TEST FOR INTERATENEO STUDENTS: TRANSLATION FROM FRENCH INTO ITALIAN.
ORAL TEST: THE EXAM CONSISTS OF A CONVERSATION ON SUBJECTS STUDIED DURING THE COURSE. SUBJECTS STUDIED INDEPENDENTLY BY SINGLE STUDENTS OR IN GROUP WILL BE APPRECIATED.
THE FINAL MARK WILL BE THE AVERAGE OF THE WRITTEN AND ORAL TEST MARKS.
STUDENTS ATTENDING THE COURSE CAN TAKE PARTS OF THE EXAM DURING THE COURSE.
