| THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE A WEALTH OF THEORETICAL AND APPLICATIVE KNOWLEDGE ON THE OPERATING PRINCIPLES AND THE CRITERIA FOR CHOOSING AND USING ELECTRIC DRIVES IN THE INDUSTRIAL SECTOR. THE DIDACTIC APPROACH ALLOWS STUDENTS TO BUILD A ROBUST BACKGROUND ON ELECTRICAL APPLICATIONS AND ON SMART INTEGRATED ELECTROMECHANICAL ENERGY CONVERSION SYSTEMS. ELEMENTS OF ELECTRICAL SAFETY AND PROTECTIONS ARE PROVIDED. |

CHARACTERISTIC OF MOTORS AND LOADS. CONTINUOUS AND INTERMITTENT OPERATIONAL FIELDS. MOTOR / LOAD COUPLING: TRANSIENT AND STEADY-STATE, EFFECT OF SPEED REDUCER AND INERTIA.
