Department Collegial Bodies
According to Article 31 of the Statute, the Department Board assists the Director in performing their duties and serves as a preparatory and advisory body for the Department Council.
Members
The Department Council is the governing body responsible for planning and managing the Department’s activities, exercising all duties assigned to it by law, the Statute, and the regulations. Specifically, it performs the functions outlined in Article 30 of the Statute. The DIEM Department Council consists of:
- Full and associate professors affiliated with the Department
- Permanent researchers
- Fixed-term researchers under Type B contracts as per Law no. 240/2010, Article 24, Paragraph 3
- Representatives of fixed-term researchers under Type A contracts as per Law no. 240/2010, Article 24, Paragraph 3, amounting to 10% of the total council membership, rounded up to the nearest whole number
- A representative of research fellows
- A representative of D. students
- A representative of undergraduate students
- Representatives of technical-administrative staff, in numbers and according to procedures defined by the General University Regulations
The head of the administrative office supporting the Department participates in Council meetings without voting rights.
