These two laboratories host courses and exercises in computer and language skills as well as supporting activities for courses that require the use of computer or multimedia technology. The laboratories have 38 and 21 PCs respectively, each of which is connected to the network and has a full range of software for office automation, data management and statistical analysis. The multimedia laboratory also has a large screen, projector and audio system for interactive lessons.

It is possible to access the internet from all PCs, to facilitate research activities and to enable students to access information on specific themes related to their studies.

In the multimedia laboratory there is one PC for students with disabilities, which has dedicated software.

Access to the "Multimedia Computer Laboratory" and to the "Language Laboratory" is confined to students and personnel from the DiSES and DiSPSC departments, by way of personal accounts, for participating in computer-assisted learning, courses that require the use of a PC, intermediate exams and online exams.

Procedures before accessing the laboratory

To access the PCs, students use as a user name their own student number (numero di matricola) and their password is their first name, truncated at 8 characters.

If a student's first name has less than 8 characters, zeros (0) are added to reach 8 characters.

During initial access, the student will be requested to change his or her password, and to insert and confirm the new one (which must contain at least 8 alphanumeric characters). This password should be kept safely.

If you lose your password, you can send a written request to reset the original password to splab@unisa.it.

The access code is strictly personal and can only be used by the account holder. Any abuse of these rules will lead to suspension of the account in question.

Teaching staff can request access by sending an email to splab@unisa.it.
