The research area is composed of skills that enable the design and implementation of interdisciplinary activities of analysis, interpretation, management, communication, and enhancement of archival and library holdings studied in the fields of paleography, codicology, librarianship, general and applied archival science, with particular attention to the themes of production, preservation, and transmission through innovative strategies and digital technologies. The multidisciplinary nature encourages constructing and consolidating scientific relationships with national and international bodies, institutions, and research centers in a 'network' perspective.
