Activities

“Life science instrumentation laboratories” provide a technological platform for rapid screening of vast libraries of chemical compounds, supporting the scientific activities of university researchers working in the life sciences. In such laboratories, experiments aimed at studying the interaction of potential bioactive molecules with molecular targets involved in the onset and/or progression of specific diseases are conducted. Through the use of state-of-the-art technologies, and thus instrumentation present in that laboratory, it is possible to obtain kinetic and thermodynamic information on the ligand-receptor interaction thus accelerating the drug discovery process.
