Ricerca MOVING CROSS THE BORDERS
The International Seminar "Moving Across Borders" aims to explore issues related to the interconnection between disciplines in the fields of architecture, construction, heritage, and urban planning through the exposition of research experiences, teaching works, and projects conducted by university researchers in Italy and abroad.
The event serves as a platform to introduce innovative research proposals, methodologies, and tools, fostering the hybridization of various disciplinary domains such as architectural design, housing, urban sustainable planning, heritage preservation, digital modeling, artificial intelligence in architecture, climate change, etc.
This interdisciplinary approach is crucial for advancing scientific progress. In fact, today's research landscape is characterized by the triple "i" paradigm: international, interdisciplinary, and intersectoral. It thrives on stable research networks where scholars can cultivate skills with impacts extending beyond academia, influencing various international, national, and regional contexts positively.
The Seminar therefore aims to create an environment favorable to the training, study, growth, and exchange of expertise in research and development, which is essential to achieve scientific excellence. The seminar spans two days: June 6, 2024, dedicated to communications by researchers, and June 7, 2024, featuring keynote lectures by influential personalities in architecture, construction, and design, enriching the seminar with particularly stimulating insights.
