Research | Research lab for the study of agribusiness, transport and tourism

The LABEATT laboratory aims to promote and sustain research activities and monitoring of the local area by carrying out demographic and other analyses. It plans statistical investigations, data collection and analysis in the area of agribusiness, transport and tourism. It also organises seminars, thematic teaching modules and advanced training courses for young researchers. The activities carried out by the laboratory include the following:

• Methodological and applied scientific research. The main areas of methodological inquiry of the laboratory are linked with local policies and governance and the promotion of the entire agribusiness chain. Research activities also cover the links between transport and tourism, with a view to supporting different kinds of economic policies.
• Consultancy. The laboratory aims to meet the needs of local authorities and other public bodies and to support them in carrying out their statutory tasks.
