Objectives
Objectives
Knowledge and understanding of writing and speaking in English, including technical discussions in the field of specialization. After obtaining the Credits, the student has proved to be able to fluently use the English language, both in written and oral form, with reference also to the scientific vocabulary (equivalent to B1 level knowledge of the English language)
Prerequisites
The starting level of knowledge will be verified by an entrance test. On the basis of the result, the student will be enrolled to an appropriate course.
Contents
The courses are organized by the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo – University Language Center (http://www.cla.unisa.it/index). The contents change on the basis of the entrance level of the students
Teaching Methods
The courses are taught by the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo – University Language Center (http://www.cla.unisa.it/index) with the methods specified by the Center.
Generally, the courses are organized according to the following scheme:
1. classroom lessons. 2. exercises on important points and targeted listening exercises. 3. specific projections on complex issues in the original language.

Verification of learning
Test to be held at the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo aimed at verifying the achievement of the objectives.
More Information
Consiglio Didattico may recognize the credits on the basis of previously acquired Certification of English Language Knowledge if issued by a Certified Body in accordance with current legislation. To this goal, the student is invited to submit the documentation to Consiglio Didattico
