Objectives
THE COURSE IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE THE KEY ELEMENTS IN TERMS OF CONCEPTS AND TOOLS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SOCIAL INNOVATION PROJECTS, PAYING PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO PUBLIC-PRIVATE COLLABORATION SPACES.

INDEPENDENCE OF JUDGMENT

- COORDINATE, DIRECT AND MOTIVATE;
- SOLVE PROBLEMS AND MAKE DECISIONS;

THE COURSE WILL ALLOW STUDENTS TO:
-KNOW THE MAIN TOOLS FOR THE ANALYSIS AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ENTREPRENEURIAL PROJECTS THAT ARE CAPABLE OF ENSURING TOGETHER: ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY, SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY, ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY;

-UNDERSTAND THE ELEMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE STRUCTURING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SOCIAL INNOVATION PROJECTS.

DURING THE COURSE, SIMULATIONS WILL BE DEVELOPED BY ANALYZING PARTICULARLY RELEVANT CASES CHOSEN BY THE TEACHER.

ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
AT THE END OF THE COURSE, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO APPLY THEIR KNOWLEDGE BY DEEPENING CASES AND CONCRETE EXPERIENCES AND WILL DEVELOP SKILLS TO AUTONOMOUSLY DEFINE AN OPERATIONAL PROJECT.

THE COURSE WILL BE HELD IN LABORATORY FORM. THE TRAINING CONTENTS OF THE COURSE WILL FOCUS ON THE ANALYSIS OF THE MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF ENTREPRENEURIAL PROJECTS THAT ARE CAPABLE OF ENSURING TOGETHER ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY, SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL
SUSTAINABILITY AND ON THE DEFINITION OF THEIR BUSINESS MODEL.
THIS COURSE IS 30 HOURS LONG, OFFER 6 CFU AND IT WILL BE STRUCTURED AS FOLLOWS:
1) CORE ELEMENTS OF SOCIAL INNOVATION AND SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP (LECTURE: 3 HOURS)
2) SOCIAL IMPACT MEASUREMENT - METRICS AND STANDARDS (LECTURE: 3 HOURS)
3) B CORP MOVEMENT AND CERTIFICATION PROCESS (LECTURE: 3 HOURS)
4) DESIGN THINKING METHODOLOGY AND TOOLS (LECTURE: 3 HOURS)
5) SEMINARS (LECTURE: 3 HOURS)
6)IDENTIFICATION OF THE COMPANY'S CHALLENGES ACCORDING TO THE B CORP MODEL (PROJECT WORK: 3 HOURS)
7DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROPOSAL SOLUTION AND IDENTIFICATION OF IMPACT AND IMPLEMENTATION SPECIFICS (PROJECT WORK: 9 HOURS)
8)PITCH PRESENTATION (PROJECT WORK: 3 HOURS).
Teaching Methods
THE COURSE WILL BE HELD IN LABORATORY MODE. THE FIRST PART (6 HOURS) WILL PROVIDE THE CONCEPTUAL TOOLS FOR THE DEFINITION OF A BUSINESS MODEL WITH A STRONG CHARACTERIZATION OF SUSTAINABILITY. THE STUDENTS WILL THEN BE INVOLVED, IN GROUPS OF 5-6 PEOPLE ON AVERAGE, WHO WILL DEVELOP WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE TEACHER A BUSINESS PROJECT CAPABLE OF COMBINING ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY WITH SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY. THE GROUPS WILL THEREFORE HAVE 24 HOURS TO DEVELOP AND PRESENT THEIR PROJECT. THE PARTICIPATION INTO THE COURSE IS SUGGESTED.
Verification of learning
THE FINAL ASSESSMENT WILL BE CARRIED OUT WITH A FINAL EXAM AT THE END OF THE COURSE IN THE APPEAL CONSISTING OF THE PRESENTATION AND ORAL DISCUSSION OF THE SOCIAL INNOVATION ENTREPRENEURIAL PROJECT THAT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED. THIS PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION WILL ALLOW THE VERIFICATION OF THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE BOTH WITH REFERENCE TO KNOWLEDGE AND THEIR APPLICATION AND IN TERMS OF INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT, COMMUNICATION AND LEARNING SKILLS. THE QUALITY OF THE ANALYSIS CARRIED OUT IN THE PREPARATION OF THE PROJECT AND THE SUSTAINABILITY OF THE BUSINESS MODEL DEVELOPED WILL THEN IN PARTICULAR BE ASSESSED. THE DURATION OF THE TEST WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES. THE TEST IS CONSIDERED PASSED WHEN THE STUDENT DEMONSTRATES HAVING A SATISFACTORY KNOWLEDGE OF SOCIAL INNOVATION ISSUES AND A SATISFACTORY CONTEXTUAL ABILITY TO APPLY SUCH KNOWLEDGE TO THE STUDY CONTEXT, INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT, COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND LEARNING AUTONOMY.
