THE COURSE AIMS AT PRESENTING THE MOST INNOVATIVE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MARKET FUNCTIONING AND THE NEWEST WAY OF FUNDING TANKS TO TECHNOLOGICAL PLATFORMS. STUDENT WILL KNOW THE LATEST INNOVATION ABOUT THE ROLE OF FINANCIAL INTERMEDIARIES AND ABOUT MARKET FUNCTIONING ALSO WITH THE PRESENCE OF FINTECH OPERATORS; HE WILL HAVE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT FUNDRAISING FOR SUSTAINABLE FINANCE AND GREEN FINANCE. STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO SELECT MODELS OF FINANCIAL INTERMEDIATION ON THE BASIS OF MOST EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS. STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO SELECT SOLUTION TO RAISE FUNDS ACCORDING TO THE NEW OPTION OF FINANCIAL MARKETS' FUNCTIONING AND TO EVALUATE THE FINANCIAL AND ECONOMIC CONVENIENCE OF THE NEW FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS OF GREEN FINANCE. INDEPENDENCE OF JUDGMENT THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: - SOLVE PROBLEMS AND MAKE DECISIONS; - ASSESS THE DYNAMICS OF TRAINING, OPERATION AND SUSTAINABLE CHANGE OF THE COMPANY; - FORMULATE REPORTS AND ASSESSMENTS ON THE BASIS OF LIMITED OR INCOMPLETE INFORMATION COMMUNICATION SKILLS THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: - COMMUNICATE IN ENGLISH - COMMUNICATE USING COMPUTER TOOLS; - TRANSMIT IDEAS, PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS; - MANAGE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS; - COMMUNICATE WITH STAKEHOLDERS LEARNING ABILITY THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: - PROCEED INDEPENDENTLY IN UPDATING KNOWLEDGE; - EVALUATE THE CONTINUATION OF YOUR EDUCATION IN THE UNIVERSITY AND OTHERS |

THE COURSE LASTS 30 HOURS (6 ECTS) AND IS ESSENTIALLY BASED ON LECTURES WITH DISCUSSION OF REAL CASES. THE MAIN TOPICS ARE AS FOLLOWS: - FINANCIAL ACTORS AND THE DEAL TYPOLOGIES INVOLVED (5 H) - FUNDRAISING, CROWDFUNDING AND ALTERNATIVE FINANCE (5 H) - DEBT AND EQUITY CAPITAL IN GREEN FINANCE (5 H) - SUSTAINABLE FINANCE AND GREEN BONDS (5 H) - CLIMATE AND CYBER RISK (5 H) - AI IN FINANCIAL SECTOR (5 H) |

THE COURSE IS TAUGHT IN ENGLISH AND IT IS BASED ON LECTURES LASTING 60 HOURS (6 ECTS). DURING THE LECTURES IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS, SEMINARS AND DISCUSSION OF CASE STUDIES WILL TAKE PLACE. THE PARTICIPATION TO LESSONS ISN'T MANDATORY BUT IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED BECAUSE STUDENTS HAVE THE POSSIBILITY TO CONFRONT THE TEACHER WHILE EXMAINING CASE STUDIES. THIS AIMS AT DEVELOPING A CRITICAL THINKING ABOUT THE MAIN INNOVATIONS THAT ARE TAKING PLACE IN FINANCIAL MARKETS. |

THE KNOWLEDGE WILL BE ASSESSED THROUGH AN EXAM AND AN EVALUATION WITH GRADES FROM 18/30 TO 30/30. IT CONSISTS IN A MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST ON THE CONTENT (EACH QUESTION HAS FOUR ANSWERS, ONLY ONE IS RIGHT) OF THE COURSE AND A DISCUSSION OF A PROJECT WORK IN THE FORM WRITTEN REPORT BASED ON A SPECIFIC TOPIC OF THE COURSE CHOSEN BY THE STUDENT. THE ANSWER COUNT PROVIDES THAT 1 POINT IS AWARDED FOR EACH CORRECT ANSWER AND 0 FOR EACH INCORRECT OR NOT GIVEN ANSWER. PASSING THE WRITTEN TEST WITH A SCORE OF 18/30 IS OBTAINED IN THE CASE OF CORRECT ANSWERS TO AT LEAST 30 QUESTIONS. THE SCORE INCREASES BY ONE POINT FOR EACH ADDITIONAL CORRECT ANSWER UP TO 39 CORRECT ANSWERS (27/30). THEN THE SCORE INCREASES BY ONE POINT FOR EVERY TWO ADDITIONAL CORRECT ANSWERS UP TO 30/30 CORRESPONDING TO 44 OR 45 CORRECT ANSWERS (SO FOR THE ASSIGNMENT OF SUBSEQUENT POINTS, THE PAIRS OF CORRECT ANSWERS CORRESPONDING TO 40-41; 42-43 AND 44-45 WILL BE CONSIDERED). PASSING THE WRITTEN TEST IS NECESSARY FOR TAKING THE ORAL TEST. AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WRITTEN TEST, THE CALENDAR FOR TAKING THE ORAL TEST IS ANNOUNCED. THE DISCUSSION AIMS AT EVALUATING THE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING BUT ALSO THE APPLYING KNOWLEDGE OF THE CONTENT OF THE COURSE. THE GRADES ARE FROM 18/30 (LIMITED KNOWLEDGE OF THE TOPIC) UP TO 30/30 CUM LAUDE (THE STUDENT HAS HIGH KNOWLEDGE AND APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE TOPIC). THE DISCUSSION WILL LAST AROUND 20 MINUTES. |
