International | Mobilità in Ingresso

The University of Salerno has launched a call to select 30 foreign or Italian scholars of high scientific qualification, belonging to non-Italian universities, research or higher education institutions to carry out the following activities:

• joint research;
• teaching activities.

Both activities may be included in the proposal, but only one option must be selected when submitting the application, based on the prevailing activity.

The following categories of visits can be proposed:

• category A: visits for periods equal to 30 days to be carried out continuously;
• category B: visits for periods equal to 90 days to be carried out continuously.

The category "A" mobility can only be proposed by "outstanding researchers / professors", i.e researchers and professors with an excellent track record and in possession of international recognition for their achievements in scientific and / or academic field.

The University of Salerno is happy to invite you to join the 5th Edition of its International Staff Training Week from 3rd to 7th June 2019.

The program will focus on the Internationalisation of Higher Education Institutions and therefore applications from staff working on this issue are particularly welcome.

The Week is designed for staff committed to internationalization strategies and opportunities.

We do believe that sharing experience and good practice is the best way to improve one’s job and to find new inspiration.

We are happy to welcome teaching and non-teaching University Staff with an international perspective so we can learn from each other, consolidate and strengthen current relations and create new partnership.

Participants will enjoy the opportunity to visit the beautiful town of Salerno, a natural gem between the famous Amalfi Coast, (UNESCO World Heritage) and the Cilento Coast, with its unique natural landscape and Paestum, one of the most relevant archeological site in Italy.

Integration between participants will occur thanks to our social program, including networking lunch and visits offering you the opportunity to discover the excellence of our province.

Living and accommodation expenses will be covered by participants.

We will select up to 25 participants and no more than 2 participants per university or country will be accepted.

Work language for all activities will be English.

Per l’anno 2019 è indetta una procedura pubblica per la selezione di n.16 studiosi stranieri o italiani di elevata qualificazione scientifica, appartenenti a istituzioni universitarie, di ricerca o di alta formazione non italiane.

L’obiettivo è favorire la dimensione internazionale della didattica e della ricerca. La mobilità, infatti, finalizzata prioritariamente all’internalizzazione della didattica, permetterà agli studiosi di svolgere corsi, moduli, cicli di lezioni o seminari in lingua inglese, che siano parte integrante del corso di laurea o laurea magistrale o di un corso di dottorato.

La durata della mobilità deve essere di almeno 3 mesi continuativi e svolgersi nei seguenti periodi:

• A.A. 2018-2019 - II semestre;
• A.A. 2019-2020 - I semestre.

Gli studiosi devono essere in possesso di un adeguato curriculum scientifico e di un’esperienza didattica certificata e continuata nel tempo.

Le proposte di candidatura devono essere presentate, entro e non oltre le ore 23:59 del 10 ottobre 2018, direttamente dal docente referente del Dipartimento.
