Erasmus+ Programme - International Credit Mobility - KA 171 | Students Opportunities
The EU’s Key Action KA171 programme, International Credit Mobility (ICM), enables both academic staff and students in the higher education sector to take part in mobility experiences outside Europe.
The aim of this action is to facilitate the implementation of mobility projects consistent with the internationalisation strategy of higher education institutions by expanding the range of possible destinations, to attract students and staff to European universities, supporting them in competing on the global higher education market, whilst at the same time broadening the range of possible destinations for European students and staff by opening up to countries in the rest of the world.

The Erasmus+ KA171 Mobility Programme enables students to attend courses and workshops and work on their degree theses, allows staff to carry out teaching and research activities at partner universities, and enables technical, administrative and library staff to undertake training activities. Erasmus+ KA171 involves non-EU countries with which the European Union maintains cooperative relations established through specific agreements (instruments) provided for by the European Commission – Partnership (PI), European Neighbourhood (ENI), Pre-Accession (IPA), Development Cooperation (DCI) - or according to the European Development Fund (EDF).
The University of Salerno has three active projects for the 2023-2026, 2024-2027, and 2025-2028 three-year periods, and is awaiting the results of the application for the 2026-2029 three-year period.

If you are a student or staff member at one of these partner universities, contact your university's International Office for information on mobility calls. Participation in the program is, in fact, linked to periodic mobility calls managed by each partner. Mobility under KA171 is always funded by a European grant.
