Opportunities | Diploma Supplement

All graduates of the University of Salerno holding a first or a second cycle degree (ruled by Ministerial Decrees 509/99 or 270/2004) receive a Diploma Supplement automatically and free of charge. They can download and print it accessing their personal web area of the online services for teaching activities.The document is issued in Italian and English in accordance with a template developed, tested, and refined by the Joint European Commission - Council of Europe - UNESCO/CEPES working party.
Its purpose is to facilitate the academic and professional recognition of qualifications and to improve international transparency. It is designed to provide a description of the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies that were pursued and successfully completed by the student in question. A full transcript of the marks acquired in each module over the entire period of study is also included as part of the Diploma Supplement.
It is free from any value-judgements, equivalence statements or suggestions about recognition.

The University of Salerno was awarded the "DS Label 2013-2016" by the European Commission as recognition of the excellence in the implementation of the Diploma Supplement.
