The BIP program features a Summer School focused on infrastructure and coastal landscapes. It includes a series of seminars and a Design Workshop exploring the relationship between tourism and the landscape. The selected case studies are located in Salerno and along the Amalfi Coast.

What sets this BIP apart from traditional training programs is the involvement of professional architects, who will guide students through activities held at the Urban Center of the Municipality of Salerno.

The seminars, open to the local community, will allow students from participating universities to develop design proposals using models, videos, and drawings. The program will conclude with an exhibition and a final presentation of the students' work.

Where

The program will be held in person at the University of Salerno's Department of Civil Engineering and is coordinated by Alessandra Como in collaboration with four other European universities.

When

The program will take place in person from September 12 to 19, 2024.

The virtual component includes an introductory lecture (1 hour) and a final presentation of the work (2 hours), both conducted via Microsoft Teams.
