Incoming Mobility | Students Opportunities

Incoming students participating in a mobility programme are allowed to carry out part of their study plans at a partner Institution with a current inter-institutional agreement. The study period abroad can last from a minimum of  2 months (or 1 academic term or trimester) to a maximum of 12 months.
Students will be able to improve their language and communication skills, get aware of different educational programmes and learn to be more independent.
Students not only will have the chance to continue their studies in a new environment and live a different culture but also all credits obtained abroad will be recognized by their home Institution at the end of the mobility period.

The project Erasmus Mundus Broadening Educational Experiences (EMBER) is an Erasmus Mundus Action 2 (EMA2) consortium that comprises twenty partner higher education institutions and four associated partners from Western/Central/Eastern Europe all the way to the South Caucasus. The consortium includes institutions from all five of the Lot 5 countries targeted by the Eastern Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI). EMBER concerns itself specifically with the Thematic Fields of Economics, Business, Languages, and Sociology. The project envisages a total of 173 mobilities to be completed over three cohorts, 148 mobilities are to 3rd Country Partners, and 25 mobilities to its European Partners.

The Erasmus Mundus project "Humanities Education Revitalized via Mundus ExperienceS" (HERMES) is aimed at enhancing cooperation among countries of the European Union and neighbouring countries in Neighbourhood East. The consortium, consisting of 15 universities in 11 countries, will provide a total of 135 scholarships for students (undergraduate, postgraduate and post-doctoral) and staff. The beneficiaries will move from one of the 6 participating EU countries to one of the 5 third countries (27 scholarships) and vice versa, i.e. from a third country to the EU (108 scholarships). Humanities is thematic field of HERMES.

 The double degree program offers students belonging to partner Institutions involved in the double degree agreements the possibility of  spending one year at the University of Salerno, acquiring core knowledge skills and specializing in their field of interest attending part of their study program. Students must be selected by their home institution.

Science Without Borders - Ciencia sem Fronteiras (CsF) is a project that aims to promote the international mobility of students, scholars and researchers coming from Brazilian universities towards high qualified Institutions and research centers in the world.
Starting from the academic year 2015/2016, the University of Salerno, whose application has been approved recently, will be one of the Italian universities selected by the Brazilian government as a destination for its students , graduate students and researchers to carry out period of study and research.
